Greetings from the Department of Civil Engineering. The Department of Civil Engineering was started in the year 2008. The department offers an undergraduate program in Civil Engineering, and Civil Engineering (Tamil Medium).The Department has a highly competitive under graduate programme which prepare students to be the best in their profession. The sanctioned students’ strengths of B.E. Civil Engineering and B.E. Civil Engineering (Tamil) are 60 and 60 respectively. Our Laboratories have been very well established not only to cover complete syllabus but to motivate students to learn beyond the syllabus which develops complete knowledge of the subject. The department has well qualified and committed faculties to guide and mentor the students’ community. The Department prides itself on preparing the students for creative careers in industries, academia and Government agencies. Our alumni, many of whom have gone on to become top executives, business leaders, and entrepreneurs both in India and abroad.
